Yoakim Bridge Winery
The ambiance was colonial Washington DC meets Sonoma County, complete with festoonery and all the whimsy one could expect of combining the two.
Our hosts, Virginia and David, who are also the owners and winemakers, were great conversationalists and had the Zin to back it up.

It was a tough choice, but we parted with the 2016 Dry Creek Zinfandel and their famous Zin sauce, which we were able to sample on meatballs during our visit. The Zin is a spicy one and well-balanced with a nice dried Moroccan spice/fruit mix.
