De La Montanya Estate Vineyards & Winery
Situated on the border of Russian River Valley and Dry Creek Valley, De La Montanya Vineyards & Winery boasts a farm chic vibe. Intimate seating areas are nestled into flower-flanked nooks and crannies along a winding path through their gardens, eventually opening up to a bocce ball court and a lawn peppered with picnic tables.
De La Montanya had an impressive number of varietals in their lineup. In addition to the what was printed on the menu, we also had the opportunity to taste gewürztraminer, chardonnay, malbec, primitivo, temperanillo, two additional pinots, and a late harvest zinfandel.
We are featuring the 2018 “5” Bordeaux blend, which is mostly comprised of RRV fruit, creating a slightly bright version of a Bordeaux, with dried cherry, baking spices, and a Mexican chocolate finish.
